The President launched a tax paid trip to the Midwest today.
Republican National Committee Chairman, Reince Priebus, also launched a similar trip. Priebus hit the nail on the head when he asked how the President plans on creating jobs when he has not been doing his job?
America agrees with the Chairman. Set a good example, Mr. POTUS. Skip your vacation to the Vineyard next week and get back to the Oval Office. America would appreciate it. This is the best way to get your approval rating up. If anything, this trip will fuel anger among tax payers and cause your ratings to drop lower then current levels.

The GOP is coming together for a take down. Party Leaders continue to put pressure on the President to find a replacement for Geithner who “will help Washington focus on balancing our budget and allowing the private sector to create jobs,” said Senator DeMint.
It seems to be quite the predicament, especially since Geithner himself was contemplating a resignation after the debt ceiling issue was resolved. He discussed the possibility further with the Washington Post in early July.
It should be interesting to see what comes of the GOP Pressure and a weak Geithner in the weeks to come.

Yesterday wasn’t the best day for the stock market. But a pesky little thing like the “economy” won’t stop Obama from lavishly celebrating his birthday party! O did his best Entourage impression and partied Hollywood-style, hosting celebrity guests such as Stevie Wonder, Chris rock, Charles Barkley, Jay Z, and the dude who voiced Woody in that toy movie.
Apparently, “let them eat cake” is the White House’s MO.
